Emergency Ultrasound Consultants expands its Virtual Ultrasound Director (VUD) Client Base

Established in 2007, the VUD program is the only emergency/point-of-care ultrasound program that incorporates all the key services identified essential for the initial integration, quality assurance peer reviews, ultrasound scanning feedback and administrative support for clinician performed ultrasound.

Lowell Emergency Physicians through the VUD will work toward credentialing in emergency ultrasound Life-Saving Applications including extended focused assessment with sonography in trauma, aorta, echocardiography, ultrasound guided procedures.

Located in Lowell, MA, Lowell General Hospital is a 217 licensed bed Acute Care facility, Level III trauma center, with Magnet nursing status. The Lowell Emergency Physician group treats 45,000 patients per year with broad range of pathology.
